Credits & billing
6 answers
What a credit buys, what is refunded, and how billing works.
See the pricingWhat is a credit?
Chrishi’s unit for paid work. An image ad costs 5, a voiceover 5, a scene still 5, a motion clip 10 at 540p (20 at 720p, 40 at 1080p), video assembly 1, and sending a campaign to Meta paused costs 10. Writing the script is free. The price is shown before you run anything.
Do unused credits roll over?
Unused credits stay in your balance, and each paid month adds your plan’s credits on top — 1,000 on Growth.
What does the free plan include?
25 credits once, no card. Image Ads, Video Ads, Canvas and the Timeline are all open. 25 credits is enough for a small image batch; a complete generated video normally needs more.
Can I buy extra credits?
On an active paid plan, yes: 500 credits for $49, 1,000 credits for $89 or 4,000 credits for $329, one time, added to your balance.
What happens when a paid step fails?
The app checks your balance before paid work starts. A batch that delivers only part of what you asked refunds the missing share; a batch with no result refunds everything outstanding; a failed Meta send refunds its 10 credits in full.
Can I get money back?
You can file a refund request from Billing in the app. Each request is checked against the Stripe charge and reviewed by a person. Refunds are handled as required by applicable law and any policy shown at purchase.
Sending to Meta
5 answers
What paused means, what you need first, and what Chrishi never does.
How sending worksWhat does “sent to Meta paused” mean?
Chrishi creates the campaign, ad set and ad in your connected Meta ad account with every status set to paused. Nothing spends until you open Ads Manager and switch it on.
What do I need before I can send?
A connected Meta ad account (add it on the Integrations page, under “Meta (Facebook & Instagram)”), a single image ad or a finished video ad, a destination link, a daily budget of at least $5, and ad text within Meta’s limits: 125 characters of primary text, 27 for the headline and 27 for the description.
Which ads can be sent?
Single image ads and finished video ads. Carousels and slideshows stay in Chrishi as downloads; a send is refused before anything is charged.
When does my ad start spending?
Only when you activate it in Ads Manager. Chrishi never activates anything. Click tracking through your Chrishi link starts after that.
Can Chrishi send to TikTok or Google?
Not in the public product. Today Chrishi sends to Meta.
Your product & words

How your photo, your text and the ad sizes are handled.
See Image AdsDoes the AI change my product photo?
For physical products, no: the AI paints the scene and your prepared photo is placed on top as it is. Clothing shown worn on a model is the exception; that is an AI edit of your photo.
Who writes the text on my ad?
You do, in the brief; the optional Suggest copy button only fills fields you leave empty. Headline, offer, button and price are set as real text by our layout software, and the image model is told to draw no letters at all. Prices come from your text, never invented.
Which sizes can I make?
Image ads in 1:1 (1080×1080), 4:5 (1080×1350), 9:16 (1080×1920) and 16:9 (1920×1080). Video ads in 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9, 5 to 60 seconds.
Why does the editor show striped areas?
Those are Meta’s keep-out zones, where buttons and captions cover the ad on a phone: 64 px right and 86 px bottom on a square, 96 and 189 on 4:5, 96 and 346 on 9:16, 77 and 108 on 16:9. Layouts keep your text out of them; the stripes are never exported.
How good will my first preview be?
It depends on your product photos and your site. Clear, well-lit product pictures make the best ads. You can change everything in the studio afterwards.
Your data

What Chrishi reads, who handles it, and what it does not claim.
Read the Privacy noticeWhat do you read when I paste my URL?
Public pages only: logo, colours, typeface and how you describe what you sell. No login, no card, and an unclaimed preview is deleted after 24 hours.
Who processes my data?
Stripe for billing, Meta for connected ad delivery, Google for optional sign-in, Sentry for error reports, Browserless for website reading, and AI and media providers — OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Luma, fal.ai and PhotoRoom. Files are stored on Cloudflare R2. The Privacy notice has the detail.
Will you use my ads as examples?
No. Submitted creative work is not published as customer proof without your permission.
Do you have a security certification?
No, and we do not claim one. The Security page lists the controls that are actually in place.
How do I cancel?
Manage or cancel through Stripe’s billing portal from Billing. Your remaining credits and your creatives stay; new monthly credits stop.
Do I keep my creatives if I stop paying?
Yes. Work you already generated stays in your library. A plan change affects future credits and paid access, not the files you made.
Can I sign in with Google?
Yes. Google sign-in is offered next to email. It links to an existing email account only when Google confirms the address is verified.
How many workspaces does a plan include?
Solo includes 1 workspace, Growth up to 3, Scale up to 5. Enterprise is agreed in writing.
